The NHRA West Central Division is excited to announce a brand-new specialty race for Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competitors at Tri-State Raceway — the inaugural Stock/Super Stock Super Combo Shootout.

Set to debut during the upcoming LODRS event, this exciting new program will spotlight one of the most important skills in sportsman drag racing: reaction time.

During Qualifying Session #2, Stock and Super Stock competitors will have the opportunity to enter the Shootout for a chance to race for cash, bragging rights, and the title of the first-ever Super Combo Shootout winner.

How It Works

  • Entries will be collected by RFC in the staging lanes during Q2.

  • The Shootout is open to both Stock Eliminator and Super Stock competitors.

  • The eight best non-red reaction times recorded during Q2 will qualify for the Shootout field.

  • Qualified racers will compete in a three-round eliminator to determine the winner.

Payout Breakdown

With a total purse of $1,000 up for grabs, every qualified racer will earn a payout:

  • Winner: $400

  • Runner-Up: $200

  • Semifinalists: $100 each

  • Quarterfinalists: $50 each

Entry Information

  • Entry Fee: $20

  • Collection Location: Staging lanes during Q2 by RFC

Reaction times matter more than ever, and this new program gives Stock and Super Stock racers another opportunity to showcase their starting-line skills while adding even more excitement to the LODRS weekend at Tri-State Raceway.

Be ready when Q2 rolls around — because a few thousandths on the tree could turn into a payday.
