New Stock/Super Stock Super Combo Shootout Debuts at Tri-State Raceway

The NHRA West Central Division is excited to announce a brand-new specialty race for Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competitors at Tri-State Raceway — the inaugural Stock/Super Stock Super Combo Shootout.
Set to debut during the upcoming LODRS event, this exciting new program will spotlight one of the most important skills in sportsman drag racing: reaction time.
During Qualifying Session #2, Stock and Super Stock competitors will have the opportunity to enter the Shootout for a chance to race for cash, bragging rights, and the title of the first-ever Super Combo Shootout winner.
How It Works
Entries will be collected by RFC in the staging lanes during Q2.
The Shootout is open to both Stock Eliminator and Super Stock competitors.
The eight best non-red reaction times recorded during Q2 will qualify for the Shootout field.
Qualified racers will compete in a three-round eliminator to determine the winner.
Payout Breakdown
With a total purse of $1,000 up for grabs, every qualified racer will earn a payout:
Winner:Â $400
Runner-Up:Â $200
Semifinalists:Â $100 each
Quarterfinalists:Â $50 each
